How referral work fits into a plan

The plan level decides how much we can run at once, not whether referral work is "allowed".

  • Growth usually suits an owner starting with one or two pieces, often per-partner tracking plus written terms for the partners who already send work.
  • Elite suits owners who want referrals alongside other marketing, or who need referral landing pages as part of a broader website refresh, where the website discount helps.
  • Enterprise suits multi-crew or multi-location businesses building partnerships across several parts of the region at once, with outreach running continuously.

We'll recommend a level after we've seen your records, and we'll tell you if a smaller plan will do.

What drives the cost

Four things decide how much work a referral program needs:

  1. The number of partners. Three partners can be designed, documented and tracked in a few weeks. Fifteen take months.
  2. Whether money changes hands. Fees and discounts need tighter terms, cleaner tracking and careful disclosure.
  3. How much you need to find. An owner with no partners needs outreach; one with several mostly needs structure.
  4. Your systems. If your job records are clear, tagging is quick. If they live in three notebooks and a phone, we start there.

A worked check before you buy

Do this sum with your own numbers. Take your average job value and multiply by the extra referred jobs a month you think a structured program could realistically bring. For instance, at $2,400 a job, two extra referred jobs a month is $4,800 in revenue. If your gross margin is around 40%, that's about $1,920 a month in gross profit, which more than covers a Growth plan at the annual rate, before counting any jobs from new partners.

If that sum doesn't work with conservative inputs, the plan isn't worth it yet, and we'll say so. Our guide on what a referral partner is worth walks through the full calculation.

How our fee is set

Our fee is the plan price in the table above, agreed before any work starts. If something outside the plan would help, such as a third-party tool, we name it and its cost in writing first, and you decide. What you agree with each partner stays between you and that partner, written down and disclosed to customers as the referral agreements page describes.

What isn't in the price

  • Partner payments. Any thank-you or fee you agree to is paid by you directly to the partner, under written terms, and disclosed to customers.
  • Legal review. We draft terms in plain language; your lawyer reviews them, on their own fee.
  • Ad spend, if you also run paid campaigns, is paid to the platform directly.
  • Trade work. We're not a contractor and never quote or perform installs, repairs or service.

Start with a conversation

The first 30 minutes cost nothing for eligible trades businesses, and that conversation sits outside any paid plan. Call, text or email (604) 632-4959 or Ali@Sedighi.ca, and see the contact page for what to include. Common questions about contracts and ownership are in the FAQ.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a setup fee?

Our published plans are monthly. If your situation needs something unusual, such as many partners at once, we'll say so in writing before you commit, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

Are referral fees or tracking numbers included?

Any thank-you or fee you agree to pay a partner is between you and that partner, and is never paid through us. Tracking setup is part of the work; we'll tell you up front about any third-party costs.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Annual billing costs less per month in exchange for the longer commitment.

Do you charge GST?

Yes. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Vancouver clients add 5% GST.
